So showing my boy some jazz on the weekend and I had to whip out some Thelonius. He dug it I think, though ‘Round Midnight, arguably one of the more accessible songs on “Genius of Modern Music” and one of the most recorded jazz standards really rubbed him the wrong way. He flipped out, saying the music was angering a monster that was trapped in the walls. It was a loooong 3:10.
