It’s weird the things that have been really getting to me lately. The risk of my son thinking the Michael Bay turtles are the genuine article made me quite upset.
Obviously Episodes I-III aren’t in contention here. Why the hell would I want to ruin the Vader reveal for the sake of awkward close-ups on Hayden Christensen… or midi-chlorians.
Later on, maybe when he’s in his teens, I’ll show my boy the Phantom Menace and he’ll think it’s a parody or some other weird form of 20th century humour… I hope.
